Lift is very pleased to share with you our paper, published in December 2020 in the Internal Medicine Journal
This study looked at what effects prescribed exercise had on the tumour progression in people undergoing anti-cancer treatment

The overall odds of disease progression was 65% lower in those who participated in exercise medicine at Lift
* The prostate cancer group had 90% reduced odds of disease progression
* The breast cancer group had 82% reduced odds of disease progression

The take home message - Prescribed, supervised exercise needs to be included as part of standard treatment in cancer care
